Outdoor amenities include a sand-volleyball court, a small playground, a picnic gazebo, and a basketball court. The Rec Center provides locker room facilities and family changing rooms. Access to the Rec Center is available to property owners and their guests at affordable prices.
Sports enthusiasts will delight in the presence of a twenty-seven-hole golf course that winds through the lower lakes area. Nature lovers can take advantage of the developing trail system throughout Pagosa Lakes, offering walking, hiking, and jogging paths to explore the scenic surroundings.
For shopping and daily needs, the Village Center located at the south end of Pagosa Lakes serves as the central hub. Here, residents and visitors can find a supermarket, gas stations, a variety of dining options ranging from fast food to fine dining, coffee shops, veterinary services, a liquor store, gift shops, and other essential services. The Pagosa Fire Protection District provides fire protection services to the community and law enforcement services are provided by the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Department.
