My introduction to Pagosa Springs came through an opportunity to guide Elk hunts here in 1999. After 3 weeks of guiding I promised myself that one day this would be home. I was able to make that promise a reality in early 2006 when I moved here with my wife Rachel, a Pagosa native.
My love of the outdoors stems from boyhood days of roaming the foothills of the Appalachians. Those eastern mountains planted a seed in my heart that has grown into a love for the Rockies. My family and I spend time in the four seasons of Colorado doing plenty of hiking, biking, trail running, bow hunting, kayaking, rock climbing, backpacking, snowshoeing, skiing and riding. It truly is an outdoor-lover’s paradise here in Pagosa Springs.
Directly out of school, I spent a few years in the guide services. Rafting and rock climbing led to big game hunting, which I still manage to sneak in a few weeks out of the year. My background immediately prior to being a Realtor is in aviation. I spent several years as a flight analyst with Boeing-owned Jeppesen out of Denver. There I was able to use my flight experience as a commercially-rated pilot, coupled with my technical computer and web design training to serve the aviation community.
My wife and I moved here primarily for a wholesome lifestyle in which to raise our children, and the availability of 3 million acres of outdoor playground to embrace. What we found when we arrived was all of that plus an amazing connection through deep friendships and a warm church family with whom to share our lives.
I have an over-arching theme to my style of doing business: I strive to be informed of all details of this area’s real estate market and attempt to pass any and all information along to you, the buyer or seller. When this is done with utmost integrity and honesty and accomplished professionally and throughly, everyone involved wins. I am not a salesman.
